Wanting, craving, wishing, and hoping

via i love wildfox, stolen inspiration, tumblr, me, we hear it, un deux senses, flikr,

This has to be one of the most random set of photos you'll probably encounter, but I don't care. Causeeee. I'm. Done. With. Finals. Hallelujah!  Been living in messy unkept buns, sweats + tees galore, and gorging on everything within a hands reach these past couple of weeks, oh gawd. Hence the lack of outfit posts :(

Lately, wanting that lilac dress and to tie-dye my hair (who's with me? :) ).  Craving pancakes, and wishing to...just relax.  Green-eyed of all those spring-breakers making way to different parts of the world, but it's ok,  I'm hoping to be making my own adventure this coming fall to... the last photo! Yeee!

edit: oh and after having an account for two years on twitter, I think I'm finally going to use it. haha Any tips and tricks?  I am still trying to figure out how to navigate myself around.. :/  twit? tweet? at me!

Signed, sealed, delivered

A happy birthday to the other half of this blog and my main squeeze.
Thank you for putting up with the most oddest of requests and for keeping me well fed. <3

Coming to draw us in as their own

urban outfitters denim button up, gifted dress, zara clogs

This is one of my more 'gathered' looks.  On most days, more often than not, dishevelment is the case.  However I had an important meeting earlier that day and needed to look 'presentable.' haha If I had the choice, I would've thrown on an unbearably oversized sweater and paired it with some combat boots, which I eventually ended up wearing later in the week, ha.  Since we were in the area, the bf and I walked through Olvera St. shortly thereafter.  I was on a man hunt for the perfect rosary, but being picky always means coming out emptyhanded :(

+ a BIG thank you to Lisa and Evelyn for their loving shout outs.

Longing to linger till dawn

uo silence and noise tweed blazer, boyfriend's borrowed fyasko tee, express leggings, jeffrey campbell mary roks, gifted snakeskin clutch

Sun bubble popped! For the most part at least. Some night shots from this weekend that I finally got a chance to post.  Saturday was indeed a good day considering I walked out the door wearing everything my favorites out of my closet and that of my boyfriend's.  Literally from head to toe.  By day, we went to the Getty Center to submerge ourselves in their cultural photography exhibit and afterwards made way for some Mediterranean food, which I am not fond of at all, but he was adamant we go and I was starving, so I reluctantly agreed.  Thereafter he made up his poor choice in cuisine by taking me to Syrup in downtown L.A.  for some dessert and my all time favorite, can never have enough of, creme brulee.  Following dessert bliss, we stopped by Vault XXI, a lounge for a friend's birthday and afterwards ventured into the streets of Little Tokyo for some photo fun.  Definitely turned into an unintentional wholesome cultural day.
Good nonetheless.
Currently, I'm in the process of some more DIYs, but everything crafty has been put on hiatus :(
Lately all my time and energy have been consumed by papers, readings, and applying for internships.  Hopefully I'll have something to show for it all when the smoke clears.

The sight of you leaves me weak

Balenciaga covered giant money

I'm drooling as we speak.
Not too long ago, my lipstick cap fell off inside my bag creating blood red chaos into my world.  It stained the lining of my purse, my keys, and especially my bright green wallet converting it into a tie-dyed christmas frenzy of a color.  My world is now back in order with this lambskin beauty.

The water haunts me more each day

forever 21 lace dress, jeffrey campbell veronica boots

I can't believe it's come to Thursday already.  This week has flown by like no other, but I am certainly ecstatic that I'm done with classes for the rest of the week.  However, the end of one week brings me closer to midterms.  Definitely not looking forward to this.  Trying to take each day as it is, but lately it's been so stressful, I've practically been running around like a chicken with its head cut off. Not attractive.
Sigh.  I need some retail therapy.  It always makes me feel better.

And I'm on my knees, and your faith in shreds, it seems

Piko 1988 cropped tee, American Apparel skirt, stolen mom's leather belt, jeffrey campbell veronica boots, nordstrom rings

Lately, I've been feeling like a vagabond, traveling from city to city with my luggage in hand.  I'm back home again and staying put just in time to leave again to San Diego this Thursday. But this time with the sun behind me.  From San Diego I'm then off to L.A and back to school.  I can't begin to accept that I will be entering reality in just a mere six more months.
Earlier today, the boyfriend and I decided to venture out into the neighboring railroad tracks for yet some more fun in the sun and keeping it simple with earth tones in just a cropped tee and a high waisted skirt (to cover up the excess skin that the tee lacks).  I think by far, this has to be my favorite set of photos (especially the second to last) that we've ever taken.  Loving the muted silhouettes, lens flares, grain and hair whips.

p.s merry late christmas. I clearly like to be on time.

Ride into the sunset, look back with no remorse

h&m sweater dress, asos beanie, MIA Rascal motorcycle leather boots

Waiting for the rain to pass, I was looking through past photos and came across some pre-[this]blog photos that didn't appear into my other blog.  I got these these boots over the summer and they have been my go-to's ever since.  The best thing about these leather goodies is that they essentially fit with every thing I wear. Literally.
Seeing these photos makes me miss the sun.  I need to go outside already.

We made a promise, after this we'd quit

jacket, j,crew. shirt, foreign exchange. shorts, urban outfitters. sam edelman fritz bows & arrows clogs. bag, foreign exchange, necklace, vintage

I promise after today, I will hang this jacket up for a breather.  San Diego today was far more pleasant than the previous day and made wandering aimlessly that much better.  As it seems, my hair is getting longer and come midday, it slowly turns into this big tangled knot of a ball that ends up on the top of my head.  I can't stand short hair.  I can't stand long hair.  I don't know what to do.

Secret's in the telling

The first post!  After much debate and deliberation, I have finally decided to set up a blog devoted specifically on my sense of fashion, mediocre photography skills, and the music that keeps me going.  Basically another hobby I am slowly picking up.
